Hi

I want something which has H-264 or MP-4, HD 2+ megapixels, firewire up to around $1000 USD. Memory sticks v tape? Haven't bought one for a while...

Any suggestions?

Thanks:)

not quite what you're looking for, but a Canon EOS 5D MKII might do the trick...

Sony has some cool cameras that shoot high speed.

I prefer miniDV only because I KNOW it is reliable. After about 14 years I've never had one fleck of dropout or any problems of any kind. I have VHS tapes I recorded from 1980 that still have no dropout, yet some data CDs I burned eight years ago are starting to corrupt and lose data.

Now that looks like the go! - Not so worried about dropouts as have a few editing options but yeah tape if stored properly is better but a pitb as in capture.
