What I found interesting about this was the idea of being able to zoom, pan and rotate the viewport with one hand and drag the points or sculpt with the stylus. Or pressing a button to activate a tool or a slider without moving the stylus 1 mm. I think the interface of the future will go along these lines. Not just for graphics. After all, pen and multi-finger touch is how we have interacted with the world for hundreds of years.

After all, my screen gets greasy even without any touch capability.

My HP tm2 tablet PC that I purchased last February does this. It's fun using it with ArtRage Studio Pro because you can do exactly that: scale, rotate, and pan using two fingers on one hand and sketch with a Wacom pressure sensitive stylus in the other hand.

I made a movie of me using it Manga Studio to draw a webcomic, though for this video I'm basically just using the stylus and not the mutli-touch:

If anybody is interested, I'll make another demo later using both multi-touch and pen at the same time.

Yeah the HP Slate 500 also has this.

Best Buy told me they will have a number of slate / tablet devices just in time for Christmas and they think their RocketFish branded HP Slate will be one of them. (to be clear it looks exactly like the HP slate, I can't say 100% that it is).
