What a premise!
Something somewhat original.
Thanks for the share.

it does, but what's with all these incredibly unsubtle names for 'serious' films? Sum up the film in 3 words and call it that? :)

It's been done.

I think it was called, "The Alamo".

Wait...
you mean extraterrestrial aliens huh?
Nevermind then.

Harrison Ford's line delivery was locked up with the Ark. His range these days seems to be Grumpy Old Man or Grumpier Old Man.

Yeah I was thinking.. oh, he's in it, oh dear. Yeah I have to agree, I just felt they wheeled him in to get more bums on seats, with no real reason for him to be there...

Ford's reading is pitch-perfect in Raiders and Empire. For current films, like Crystal Skull, it's not his face so much as his inflection that makes him infirm. He is reading the lines wrong! (IMO)

Sean Connery, no matter how ancient, managed to make a charismatic, convincing older action star.

Now if they had gotten Clint Eastwood for the Harrison Ford part that would have been awesome!

haha, yeah. . .and I'm actually going to be surprised if these aliens aren't blood sucking vampires and they only like Human Blood.

I, for one, will be happy when Hollywood runs out of all other intellectual properties and is forced to start recreating crappy 50's thrillers and good SF books.

Of course, they'll try to avoid creating the kind of stuff we'd like to see. I'm sure they'll risk secret imprisonment for violating the secret law that you can't create something original in Hollywood, just to avoid producing something excellent.

Don't hold your breath, how many times have they remade "The Karate Kid"?
