Surprised to see that even in LW 10, catmull-clark sub patches distort UV's. It makes working in a pipeline that includes LW and maya more stringent. Also, maya's catmull-clark quads and lw's standard subpatch model don't always look the same so asking the maya artist to work in quads isn't a complete solution.
