Those quartz crystals are amazing. The fruit and vegetables are extremely realistic. The composition is out of this world.

Photoreal stills and photoreal animation with complex geometry and simulation are different things. It could be a render of 1 frame in 2 hours in renderer x versus 1 frame in 45 min with render y.
Even octane renderer produces beautiful stills out of the box as good or better than vray. But rendering, compositing with octane animation is not as easy as vray.

V ray helps a lot! and is so photorreal ( with and without compositing pass ).

That's why I'd like to see V ray for lightwave.
