Hi. What is the easiest way to soften/ add radius to the sharp corners of an object? See attached.

Some primitives, like the cube support this natively, However the best method of doing it retrospectively is using 'Rounder', just beware it has a number of caveats when you have an edge which is open at one end... It's in the Multiply Extend menu...

Perfect. I thought there might be a different way via a keyboard shortcut.

You can also try Edge Bevel (ctrl-b). Select the points or edge you want to effect. This tool has some quirks and has a more limited effect than Rounder, but it's a bit more stable.

Rounder or Edge Bevel are both fishy, but they can work.
Pitty that edge Bevel only bevels once and doesn't allow multiple divisions and costum profile.

Another way is to do it like the attached image using a great plugin from Pixtric 2-2Scale.

Cheers

Edit: you can do it like in the second image too, faster and no plugs. But well it doesn't hurt to get to know Pictrix :D

pictrix it's a developer that does great lw plugins. 2-2scale is the first http://www.pictrix.jp/?page_id=81. Watchout for not getting lost trying them all =)

See the second image, you can do it without plugs though, but doesn't hurt to know Pictrix :D
