Hi guys,

I have the Tricaster Broadcast and one of the things our viewers have "complained" about is the size of the video stream.

Is it possible to stream higher than 480 x 270?

Thanks in advance.

Try asking this in the Tricaster forum below. You'll probably get answers faster. :)

Just realized that :) thanks

Tricaster Broadcast doesn't do HD :(

Anyway, the stream type maximum res on the list is 480 x 270 and I'm thinking, that can't be it right?

A bigger screen for the video stream would be ideal.

And to add a Chuck Norris joke back at you :)

Chuck Norris and Superman had a fight...the loser had to wear his underwear on the outside.

Never ask Chuck Norris for an autograph. Why? Because Chuck's signature is a straight roundhouse kick to the face.

tbh i dont know anything about Tricaster , but surely you must be able to broadcast in a higher rez than that ?

What's a tricaster? Is that like a tricycle with some kind of satellite dish on the front?

What's a tricaster?

That when you get a cast on all three legs. Whoops did I say that? (Steve Erkals voice)

480x720? not 270? I guessing that is a typo. 720x480 (720x486) is standard NTSC resolution and the Broadcast should be capable of that.

To my knowledge, no it doesn't do HD.

Wish is was like that but the options I have for streaming with the Tricaster Broadcast is at max res 480 x 270.

Using the unit in Europe so yes its PAL but this shouldn't affect the size "that" much.

The "stream type" drop down list displays a max res of 480 x 270.
That can't be it right?

To get an idea of the screen size we're having to work with look at the preview page for our next upcoming broadcast: http://www.livestream.fi/luhta.htm

Running a basketball game on that size screen make viewing very tedious for some.

We worked out a solution in this thread

Eg, page with larger video at http://www.livestream.fi/luhta.htm
