View Full Version : Weird texture placement problem.

I have this object where the images render offset on the geometry. Things look perfect in OpenGL, but when I render the object, the image (at least in the color and diffuse channels) is shifted on the x and z about 10 percent. Oddly enough, the bump map is perfectly positioned.

Originally, I had two planar projections (one on the X and the other on the Z) but saw it wasn't rendering right so I UV mapped the building. The problem is still there.

I've also applied the image maps using nodes and I get the same issue.

I may try backsaving it to an older object version and hopefully that will fix the problem.


EDIT: I figured it out. There is an alpha channel in the image that is offset from the color channels.

Image Editor>Alpha Channel>Disabled.
Because you have an alpha channel info there that is unaligned with the texture.

For me it was showing the issue in OGL too.

Yeah, I figured that out... it just took me a while.
