Apparently a neutron bomb detonated over San Antonio.... where're all the people???

Or do only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noonday sun?

(In Texese: "Only mad dogs and y'all Englishmen go out in the noonday, son.")

I took these on Saturday, no one was around. The desk shot is sales I believe, so my desk isn't visible.

I hope you enjoy your time there Matt.

I love the vintage Camera and TV. Anyone remembers that the "old" NT website used to have one of those old TV's featured! :)

And looks like the Tron machine is working :D It gives you free games, or you stills need to use coins? :D

Matt,
Welcome to America. I hope you love your new job. I think thats the first photos I have seen of the NT building.
Just a thought but maybe you could ask someone to create some reference photos of those TV's and post them on the site. Things like these are getting obsolete and are well worth preserving even if is a 3d mesh.

Hey Matt. I'm Texan myself, even though I live in Europe.

One good advice, before you put your boots/shoes on, be sure to turn em around and shake em. :)

He's not kidding Matt. I had a "toe incident" with a brown scorpion about four years ago. Not a good time.

They have brown recluse spiders down there too, don't they?

I'd definitely shake out my shoes. Those things are nasty... (!)

So very true.

Oddly enough, I've lived in Texas for pretty much my entire life and I don't ever really use the phrase "y'all". Not many people I know do either.

..and welcome to Texas Matt. We get down to San Antonio a couple of times a year, just to hang out at the River Walk and go to Dirty Nellie's pub to pound down Guinness 'til we can't see straight. Maybe next time you could have a sit with us and I'll buy you a few rounds.
