Hi all,
I am using tricaster (Base Model) and am using the editor for minute edits and then rendering to another file.

My question is this:

Is there a list of the aspect ratios that the different renders will give.
So far I have figured out that the MP4 (IPOD) give you a 640x480 ratio.

Is there a way to render to DV or at least 720 x 480 so that I can burn the file to DVD?

Thanks

Is there a way to render out from Edit Media a 16x9 SD video? One that is not letter boxed?

16:9 SD is always 720x480, just like 4:3 SD. Whether 16:9 is shown as letter-boxed or not is generally a matter of the display device capability and settings (assuming you correctly configure any disk authoring software you are using, if any).

Your choices in SD land are anamorphic or letterboxed, which have the same resolution as any other SD video, as others have said.

I have been on a rampage about this lately. :)

Ok here is another question.

I am going to be using imag through the VGA output on the tricaster base model.
I am going to be using 16x9 on the trickaster (Basemodel) SD?
The projector aspect ratio is 1280x720. (16 x 9)

Are we going to need an upscale. I am worried that the 720 x 480...

Thanks
