The autorigger that was used in this video by Lino where I asked about bones being controllers. I found it. :jam:

2005???!! Was it ever released? Sorry wasn't doing 3d back then.

Really cool! How about including it in the Tutorial DVD for Core upgraders. :D

Its a plugin back in 2005. Older than rhiggit and maestro. I'm sure a version of that was used in the siggraph video.

So no one purchased this plugin in 2005?? It looks way ahead of its time.

Actually, it doesn't predate Maestro, but they were close to the same time period. Maestro was first made public around January 2005.

LCS was actually never released. It was being produced by Lino, which explains why you saw him using it if in fact that's what he was using.

Eric - Im sure thats what he was using or a version in Siggraph. No other autorigger other than his uses bones as controllers and adds hold bones via script.

silviotoledo - do you have actual projects needing that feature? It will give you headache. Its too high end for 80% of animation work imho. We use 3dmax and have yet to need to simulate muscles in animation. Its very time consuming to tweak muscles and better to focus on other areas in the animation. Check titles with "sample". Some pachinco cg movies we did but no muscles just default biped and vray.
