View Full Version : FiberFX "Max Fiber Density" vs "Fiber Qty"??

I'm having a weird problem where, when applying FiberFX, the top dialog within FiberFX will sometimes show "Max Fiber Density" and sometimes read "Fiber Qty". When it reads "Fiber Qty" it makes the object invisible to both the camera and rays. When I undo that it renders only shadows. If it reads "Max Fiber Density" it works as expected.
What's the difference between the two and why is it doing that? Is it a bug? I've tried tripling polygons, resurfacing them, freezing subpatched objects, nothing seems to work.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm banging my head against a wall.

Here's a simple object that is throwing the "bad" Fiber Qty dialog at me.

I think the Fiber Qty has something to do with guides. I have seen that myself a few times although I didn't really think much of it.
