how i can export my animation to *.x format (directx).

how i can create in lw9.6 Normal map ???? without any software ??!!

Seriously though.

LW wont make nor export normal maps without plugin, as for directX... again, plugin would be required, but as far as i know no such thing exists for LW... someone more knowledgable about games would have to chime in, but I think you'll find there's a whole program for authoring stuff like that out, best you'd get out of LW would be just the basic asset content creation (meshes, anim cycles, etc)

You would need to use a Program called PolyTrans. http://www.okino.com/conv/filefrmt.htm This can help you export into almost any format without any loss to the model. Direct x format can be exported from Polytrans. It is a separate program all together. It runs about $500 US Dollars.

This one is free but unstable http://www.chadvernon.com/blog/resources/cvxporter/. You will need Maya for this.

Polytrans is the best one we used. It converted .x formats perfect.

Try Accutrans 3d ($20) plus you can try it for free. It will save out in .x format, but not load it. I have used it for 17 years for my conversion needs.
It even loads and saves Modo files. Oops did I just swear. i hope I don't get banned for saying the "M" word.

AccuTrans 3D will not transfer LightWave animation into a .X file.
