Does anyone know some light strength on the surface of the measuring plugin?

Lambert's Cosine Law, basis of most of the basic shaders (phong, lambert) is in fact the measurment of the strenght of the light on the surface.
It is the energy of the incident light multiplied by the cosine of the angle of the incident light and the surface normal.
But I probably mis-understand your question...

Maybe only on point (null object) not all surface.
It must be simple calculate all Light intensity with distance?
(perhaps more difficult from a parallel beam of light sources and ambient Light)
Like Custom object - Ruler or Range Finder.

Do you want a light meter?

If I remember correctly, Worley's G2 had that capability, but only in it's preview render.

Do you want to drive an event/animation based on the light level hitting the surface of your object or just something to inform you?
