I got a PM from Anthony aka..Wittywop, asking about my gritnode rust preset....so I uploaded an example scene :D

ps....I never actually learned why presets/surfaces look different in different scenes....sometimes they a correct and sometimes they look like crap. I guess, it might have to do with object size and/or scene grid size in layout.

Anyway, I just load a scene with the surface I want and swap out the object with the new one and apply the preset..hehe

Thank you Kuzey! I think the rust will come to use further on, but I was
attracted of the body material ;-) After a little tweaking I think it could
be perfect for a galvanized material I am working on. Good to have the
nodes ready set up!

Thanks for your scene!

I'm glad you like it!

Make sure you post an image of the galvanized metal...looking forward to seeing it.

But a little warning...I never optimized the node tree and just plugged in things willy nilly....hehe

I just remembered...I've already done a galvanized metal before and using the same preset as a starting point :)
