You know, I was thinking of trying to pick up an effects shot or something from the Asylum just to say I've done it. I think that would be pretty fun to do, knowing the kind of flicks they make.

Rob was involved in setting up the VAD for that I believe, so quite possibly so.

How much did it need to be used to be included?

i'm not sure, but i guess that's up to NT...
i'd post what it was used on.

for example, Lightwave wasn't used that much in Pan's Labyrinth,
but it still made a difference.

Well, this oneŽs not very famous but it did hit a couple of theaters here before going to DVD. The last couple of minutes have several shots with a lot of LW around.

Estigmas (2009)

We are finishing a few shots for another one which is currently in postproduction stage. IŽll give more details when it premieres.

Well just in case...

& Not sure if this counts -

Should be nothing closed about it. If you hear/see/witness Lightwave being used in a proferssional manner, broadcast, silver screen or otherwise, please share .. I for one would LOVE to hear about it

I worked on "The Mechanic" remake and "Drive Angry" in 2010. They weren't big time movies (kinda low budget), but we did a good number of shots using Maya.

Lightwave really, but that is a secret :) Its a marketing thing.
