First: thanks for all the birthday wishes
Second: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm forced to relearn lightwave v7.x
unfortunately due to an under the hood(i',m assuming) optimization or bug. When a model is transformed either in modeler(using modeler.v.9.6 tools) or in Layout.v.9.6(using bones) the point order changes. The problem occurs when I attempt to interpolate between two models using a vertex program(cg toolkit example) The Triangle number remains the same BUT! The point order changes when using v9.6. But this same change does not take place when using 7.5. The linear interpolation between two models works fine in older versions of LW but goes bonkers when using the newer version of LW. What ends up happening with v.9.6 is the triangles between two models grow smaller and rotate in place, then grow bigger and continue to rotate until the second model gains full weight. What should be a GPU vertex blend between two models turns into a salad toss of mis-placed vertices.
