View Full Version : Render Smooth SubD Wireframe

LW needs the option to render a smooth wireframe of a SubD object like how wireframe shade appears in modeler. AFAIK, the only way to do this is to make a atlas map and apply the wireframe image back into the color channel. This is not a good workaround, and sometimes there are errors in the atlas unwrap that you have to hand edit, etc, etc.

You can try turning edges (other) on in the Item Properties. It won't look the same as Modeler though.

Just curious, what one would use this feature for?

The more ways to render, the better...

Surface Editor / Advanced / Render Outlines.

hmm.. i tried the surface editor render outlines and it turns out pretty much like item properties edges. That is, triangulated (when object is subd) and dependent on subpatch level to achieve smoothness?
