Hi Newtek,

I can't find anything in the specs so far.

Does the TXD850 need a 1920x1080 monitor for the interface or can it be a 1440x900 as well?

Are there any disadvantages using this resolution beside the fact that it is smaller?

I saw in the specs of the TXD300 that it supports this resolution also.

Thanks for the answers

From the 850 manual:

"TriCasterís user interface requires a minimum screen resolution of either 1280 x 1024 or 1440x900."

Could you phrase the question a little more explicitly? I'm not really sure what you are asking ...

Sorry - I will try:

If I use a monitor with a lower resolution for the TC interface and maybe a second monitor for the multiview, is there some disadvantage when I do not use the full 1920x1200 resolution?

I ask that because we have limited space for the monitors that doesn't allow us to use monitors bigger than 19inch. That kind of monitors do only support 1440x900 as maximum resolution.

So the question is: Is the interface or multiview on 1440x900 monitors somewhat "limited" or otherwise inferior to the full 1920x1200 resolution?

Thanks.

Really, the smaller screens are only be inferior in that the displays are lower resolution. You don't lose anything (that is, no cropping, or anything of that sort).

Great news.

Thanks for testing Steve. Can't wait to get my hands on a TCXD850.
