Hi, how would I create a modeler Lscript to do the following

1: Select points (In my case I have a bunch of 2 point polys running a long a line)
2: Having selected the points make the points into an open curve.

I hope my explanation of what I am after is clear.

Selecting all points and pressing ctrl-p doesn't work?

Yes I am doing that. But the problem I have is that I am creating hair strands and I have lots and lots of strands to select and ctrl-p. just wondered if there was a quick way to do this may be Lscript?

works great but still have same problems. I need to convert 2 point poly chain to an open curve. Thought that if I did an Lscript then i would be able to avoid repetition.

Maybe my Toggle lines/curve script already does what you want? Select lines, execute, turns lines to splines. Select curves, execute, turns splines to lines. It's certainly not perfected yet but maybe useful.

Great, I'll chalk that script up as having two(!) users then. Yay! Thanks.
