We have our Wowza on EC2 ready to accept a live RTMP feed and are having problems initiating the stream in the TriCaster (TCXD300). There are three options for the stream which we assume is Windows Media Push since the other two options are "pull". We are unclear on the format of the URL. We would expect it to be rtmp://ourip/live and the Stream ID is "myStream". "live" is our application name in wowza.

We get a check URL error message and we know it is accurate as far as IP. We have also tried adding the port :1935 to the URL but same results. Any suggestions on the specifics of the URL/values to enter would be helpful and also is there any log to see more about the Tricaster error being displayed at the very top right.

You need to select the "Push Flash" option to stream using RTMP.

It would be cool if someone could build a pre-buiilt profile with Wowza configured. I know you have to have your own license for Wowza buy has anyone setup a ec2 server profile with it already pre-configured?

There would be no such thing... since technically ANY of the push flash profiles would work just fine
