Hello,

i just can't find a tutorial i saw in youtube about displacement mountain creation, with the add of the fog. Used many search keys without result.

Anyone knows something about this tutorial?

Sorry dude I google bashed away , I remember and know what tut your own about , " the dude had a kinda strange accent , if i remember correct , ill look about on my HD "around 5 TB " im sure I have it on there somewhere . . .


it was pretty easy , using displacment maps , was that the one >?

The video i'm looking for is a more complete tutorial where the guy create Mountains with the same techinques showed in the video above, plus adding ground fog beetween the mountain a nice sunset. What i haven't bookmarked it?

theres a good tut over at another new 3D forum , "My god why do you fell guilty posting this " :rock:, it uses hightmaps to create terrian , maybe worth a look

It's my mistake. The title of this thread may mislead in some way. All those tutorial are very nice and useful. The tutorial i'm looking for is nice for other reason: the creator create a simple lightwave landscape scene, with sun and fog passing through mountains, without using any external software. Rather than the mountain creation itself, i'm more interested in the way i used some layers to generate mountain with the specific use of the ground fog.

I wonder if this guy is a Newtek forum user too.
