View Full Version : rotation whoas and building a city

Hi everyone.

In the Modeler, is there ANYWAY we can stop the rotation from tiltting the camera because it makes it REALLY hard to rotate around things like that. It's quite frustrating.
Also, I'm trying to make a city with some roads and stuff, I was able to draw out some simple roads and then extrude everything outside (with random bevel) so all the buildings are sorta there.. .well the shapes are, but I'm wondering if anyone has any techniques on creating a city with streets and things.

Or is there a tutorial on the subject? That'd be great.

For rotation "whoas" use shift "a" on a selection.

Im trying to figure out a good way to do this using native LW tools.

I've been doing some test, i'll keep you posted

I draw mine in Autocad, (usually based on an existing drawing) and create the 3d there using extrude, then export it to LW.

Hmm that is cool, but I want to use it in a realtime environment. So I need the geometry to always be there.
