View Full Version : Basic Tri-caster and Time Warp

We've got the basic Tricaster and Time Warp unit. We want to use it to do mixes whilst also recording replays of football matches. We were under the impression that the Time Warp can be set up to record a certain channel (i.e. the main video feed) independently of what's going to PG output. We can only get it to record PG out though. Is this something we have set wrong, or is it due to us having the basic model of Tricaster? Would the Pro have extra features needed (such as the third bus of effects)

Yes, according to my notes TriCaster Pro (and all models above) lets you optionally record the output from the Effects row (rather than Program; not in addition to it), which can be dedicated to various sources when not in use for other purposes.

the idea of recording the effects bus is that the hilight guy records plays on camera 5.. not a camear you have on your switcher... an alt input so the " game" call it a puck... the cameras follow the game
