View Full Version : IK boost rotation problem

I've finally decided to dive into IKboost. Great tool. I've watched Larry Schultz's videos and they are very helpful. I've run into an issue that I just can't seem to track down. I created the skeleton with skelagons in modeler, my model is set up in the traditional T-pose, when I try to drag her arm straight down (by her side), her hand will twist. I've tried some different bone configurations and it still does the same thing. I've included an image to try to show what is going on. If this does not make since please let me know.

Thanks for any help,

Set any bones in between joints to FK control in the node menu. Also make sure that your bones are oriented the way you think they should be. Skelegons are notoriious for creating screwy bone orientations unless you use the bone twist tool in layout to fix this.

Thanks Larry. I think my problem is a little of everything you mentioned. I purchased your rigging videos too, I'm going to try to rig the model in layout to see if that gives me better control.
