Hey everyone!
I currently have lightwave 9.6. Its time for me to render my animation but I want to render it in parts, how would I render something from frame 100 to frame say 294?

Go to the Render Globals window and set your First and Last frame to what you want.

Thanks for such a quick reply. Are you very experienced with Lightwave? Im having some very minor problems and was wondering if I could PM you, or someone else? :)

Well, I am sure you are aware of the 20th Centure Fox Logo.
That is what I am currently designing for a school final project. The current Lights I am using are spotlights with a 50% Luminosity and -50% Opacity. I want them to be like the lights in the actualy logo but mine appear very wide and VERY opaque. Could you tell me what I could do?

Sounds like you need to adjust the cone angle of your lights.

You can also adjust the density of the light. I assume you're using a volumetric light.

I just googled the image and you could also replicate the light shaft with a cylinder that has some transparency to it.

Yes I am using a volumetric light. I think the density is what my problem is let me check that out.
