View Full Version : set bone weightmap in Layout with multi-bone selection

It would be nice to change more than a single bone's weightmap in the bone property panel instead of having to use the Scene Editor or Modeler's Skelegon Editor.

For example, if you have a tail and you create a 6 bone chain in Layout, it would be great if you could select all of them, open the Bone Property panel, and set the weightmap for all of them at once... it seems it only does it to the last bone in the selection array (unless I'm missing something).

I thought they added that. I also noticed rest length doesn't support multiple selection either. This should be fixed. As many other properties have had multi select working.

While you guys are waiting for LW to get more things to support multiselections, I can recomend checking this out:


ef MultiService with LastCommand

I've used it for doing REC Pivot Rotation on all selected bones/joints as well as assigning one weight to many bones. It works with most commands in Layout.
