View Full Version : Export OBJ with vertex map

Hi.

I am trying to export an OBJ from modeller with a vertex map.
Source file is a single poly with the vertex normals angled, so the surface is shaded as if curved. This is a test obj made for testing whether vertex normals were being read by Octane render.

The poly comes into modeller and shades the poly using the vertex normals, but upon export it seems to only export a poly centre normal.

I have tried exporting via collada/fbx then converting to obj, but no luck.
Any ideas?
