TCXD300 1080i project
1080i component input
Recorded MPEG will not import into CS4 1080i sequence.

The status of the clip's frame rate and duration shows 'Pending' in the media bin, and the clip shows 'Media Pending' on the timeline.

Were these clips recorded using the high quality option?

You need to upgrade to CS5 to read all the new higher end HD codec files properly. CS4 barely could handle some HD files and not very well even when it did. simple 4:2:1 mpeg streams worked for me at times. but i think tricaster does 4:4:4 and CS4 wont read those at all if i recall.

CS5 kicks butt and plays all flavors of mpeg2,mpeg4, h264, xdcam, p2, etc...
