this one was inspired by the hyper-realism of Finding Nemo, pixars best yet... its not hyper-real, but reather slightly surreal imho... anyways crits and comments always welcome :)

Looks like a painting...very cool!

I agree it's a bit bright...but shows promise!

I think the brightness might be part of that whole surrealism thing he mentioned.

Nice image, I like the brightness and its painterly look. But why can't people think for themselves, rather than let pixar think for them.

sorry if I seemed harsh but that's my opinion, if you disagree then disregard it. I did say I thought the image was well done if that's any consolation.

Well...I like it...it's definitely not the everyday image you see....If you're going for realism though...my crit would be to work on the shark a bit...something seems off to me....the dorsal fins(side fin?) are far to big I think and the nose/face of the shark doesn't look to shark like to me. The overall feel of the image is great though and I like the lighting....I would just work on the model...great work though:)

Knightmare22:

Although I feel your point about the quote is quite petty considering that they are two completely different things, I do agree that it's a very boring and obviously unoriginal quote and maybe I should put the effort into thinking up something myself. Well I hope you’re happy.
