Im rendering simple animations of an object spinning 360Deg.
rendering frames 1-60,
keyframe at frame 0 = Heading:0
frame 60= Heading:360
(render to Tiff sequence @ 30fps)
when I play in LW it loops seemlessly. but when I import it the sequence into Quicktime or Final Cut Pro, it has a visable 'hitch' when it ends/starts.

Also, the frames are not fluent, they're jittery.

Any solutions?

Could just be a playback issue with QT or FC. What does it look like if you render out to a QT file that's set to loop?

Same problem with a QT (.mov) file.

One problem I see is that frame 0 and frame 60 might be listing different angles but they are both really pointing the same direction.

So when moving from frame 60 to 0 there might be a small noticable hiccup. Try 354 degrees on frame 60 and see if it helps.

Same problem with a QT (.mov) file.

Is your QT file huge in file size? If the file size is monstrous that might affect realtime playback.

Yes, as zippitt said... you have two frames with same position (heading): first and last, they are both the same..

Yep..that's the issue...Just delete frame 60. Go 0-59 and will work perfect.

He fixed this and posted it in another thread.

But duplicate frames didn't appear to be the problem.
In his original post you will note that frames 0 and 60 were the duplicates.
He was only rendering 1-60. So there weren't any duplicates rendered.

It appeared to be a codec issue. He re-rendered and everything came out okay.
