I don't know but if you find a way to turn on embedded videos you'll be the hero of the forum

That's the worst kind of screwup... when you don't know what button you hit.

I recently did the same and went looking through the menus to try to figure out what I had done. Turns out I accidentally hit Ctrl+Alt+Shift+V or something, in Photoshop. Screwed me all up.

Ah, thanks.

Reminds of that damn Full Scene Eval in LW that gets accidently enabled when pressing 'D' and 'F' keys too close together. It used to cause weird little white and red spots to show up in renders using instancing or G2 that drove some people nutzoid trying to figure out what the hell was wrong.

Cats are good at that.

Those doodads that project a keyboard onto a flat surface so you can type should be modified for cats sitting on your table. A querty layout on kitty's fur, and everyone wins.

Except when kitty gets tired of being poked in the side repeatedly, then keyboard has claws...

Sometimes while typing I hit a key on accident and get some odd character, usually a box. How do you get odd characters like these? Am regularly needing an accent, degree sign, or fractions. Occasionally I get one in a spam or such.

Character Map in Windows shows you all the characters you can make with a given font.

And toddlers, now my gmail shows up with little tiny fonts.

I've got some favorite special characters. In any font, hold down the Alt key and hit these numbers on the keypad only:

? = 0149
= 0153
= 0174
= 130
= 248
= 0178
= 0179

And so on. As mentioned, CharMap will show you many of the codes.

That's great for getting precise cloning though.

The worst thing was that Lightwave used to treat caps lock as shift when using shortcuts (thankfully changed now)...that would cause a lot of headaches if you didn't realise that the caps key was on.
