Did some tests with hypervoxels.
With voxelbaking it's possible to get some very nice clouds to fly through
at a very nice renderspeed, but....
When loading the baked voxels after quiting LW they don't show up ????
Anyone ?? Get also lots of crashes...:bangwall:
Could be sooooo usefull if it worked,
Anyone had the same problem? Any solutions ?

Never heard of baking voxels option in LightWave.. Where did you see such option?

Add Hypervoxels and you will see the option at shading tab

No, not surface baker. It is an option in the HyperVoxels settings.
It basically precalcs everything and stores it into a regular grid voxel dataset, thus saving rendertimes.

yepp baking of hypervoxels (hypervoxels volumetric mode) is located under the shading tab.

makes me wonder if anyone actually have used it for final renders, limited
by 400x400x400 resolution.

also..using 64 bit system might be an issue since 64 bit systems donīt
support quicktime for baking the voxels.

Baking of the voxels will allow you to get a previz pretty fast thou.
