I just installed a new toaster 5 card in my gigabyte motherboard. the audio starts to make a popping sound after just a short time that gets progressively louder and more frequent the longer the vt5 is on. At first I thought it was the vt5 card so I swapped it out with another identical card and it does the same thing. Makes a popping sound that gets louder and more frequent in the auduio output. If I spray the back half of the vt5 card with freeze spray it quits popping for a short period then gradually starts up again. Could I possibly have 2 bgad VT5 cards or is there a voltage that can be reset on the PCI slot on the gigabyte x58A-UD3R mother board? This board has only 1 white PCI slot. It sounds like a voltage problem causing the VT5 card to heat up. Does anyone have an answer?

I found my audio popping problem. The floppy drive power cable came unplugged from my daughter board molex power cable on the VT5 card. Dumb pilot error. My own fault.
