Speed Modeling Challenge #82 - Put A Lid On It
*************************************************
Rules:

1. Every week there will be a subject for you to model along with a time limit. You should spend no longer than the allocated time, then post a render of your model. As in most challenges like this, your honesty on modelling times is essential. How you interpret the brief is up to you as long as the final model conforms to what is asked for.
2. Post a render of your model (min 800x600 pixels) in this thread with a wireframe.
3. LightWave should be used for modelling. 3rd party Plug ins are allowed.
4. You can enter as many times as you like, posting each in this thread. If you run over the time, the model can still be posted but won't be subject to the judging.
5. Time spent on texturing, setting up a scene for a render and rendering is not included in the allocated period.

*************************************************

This week's topic: "Put A Lid On It"

Make of that what you will :lwicon:

Time Limit - 60 minutes.

Deadline - Wednesday 19th May 2010, 2200 GMT

You guys are making it harder and harder to incorporate boobs into the challenges ... hmm .. I guess that's why they call it a challenge eh... :D

Big pasties. (Pasties in the USA are little disks topless dancers put over their nipples, In the UK, pasties are Cornish hot pockets.) Both are good.

By golly, I think you've struck gold there Shrox... Topless dancers with pastries on their nipples .. Man!.. now THAT would be awesome!

ok.. this is now an official challenge. It has had it's proper boobage responses... carry on.

Breasts. Now I am thinking about food...

Ok there may be a clue here about your difficulties with getting dates. If you can't properly identify breasts you may not be properly identifying potential dates.:D

The military uses silhouettes to help with quick identification training. Learn how to recognize which of the following silhouettes have breasts and you can avoid the embarrassment of asking the coat rack for a date.
Or maybe glasses would help...:D

I think some of them flintlocks in chrome would make a great decoration for my truck's mud flaps. Classy!

I made a piano. I got too crazy about the keys so I forgot about the pedals when the clock hit 60 minutes.. I'll add them later though. It was fun modeling something again. :) Oh, and there's TWO lids on this thing. Do I get a star for that ?

Render coming soon.

Here's a quick render. Boy do I hate the size restriction on the forums.. super compressed JPEGs don't look good..

I think you've mistaken the terminology. A chick's boob might have a tattoo on it or a ring through the nipple, a ladies' breast would not. I prefer the latter.

Dang, I had a cartoonish top hat going over a sub-sea gusher... but was too busy.

A humble suggestion for a future challenge: The sci fi corridor (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109215).

Sorry for not doing anything myself this week, its been a rough one
And our winner is OlaHaldor with his piano. Great work man
Thanks to all who took part:thumbsup:

I dont know if a winner was picked last week, I think Traveler was waiting on a render that never came.

Nangleator good idea, I had been thinking of a sort of nurnie challenge for some future one.

I wanted to get in on one this week, kinda been falling behind on model making. Had to repair and reload my machine, so it was down most of the week :(

Great work Olahaldor, piano looks awesome!

I think the sci fi corridor idea looks kinda fun. just my 2 cents

Darn.. had some time on my hands, but no new challenge as yet..

What will happen if last weeks winner is on holiday or something? Who will set the new challenge?

Currently working on some art projects.. so art related would be nice ;) (although.. everything we do here is true art, right ?)

Thanks!
