...showed great restraint in not shooting the dog... (but shot the owner instead)

So why not just drive off?
or
accelerate when he goes to bite the bumper,
or
do reverse doughnuts and see how long he hangs on,
or
run the dog down... after a chase through several yards, fences, a couple of porches, a playground (oops sorry about the kids) and finally into a tree. (darn dog got away)

maybe i'm just too media aware..but don;t ya think it a little strange having 2 video camera's setup for this scene?...something smells of 'youtube video fix' more than a hap hazard occurrence that was "caught on camera".

still, we are now surrounded by people with video camera's in the mobi phones etc....so it could just be not setup...

There is longer video from the dash cam of the cars that responded, they pull up on the scene and the dog has already torn off part of the bumper, and when the car backs up the dog just won't let go.

LOL, I first saw this on =3 on youtube. Crazy...

Although, I have a friend who's dog was shot by a police officer just for barking at him (and the dog was chained, so it couldn't really do much anyway). Cops around here don't like pitbulls I guess. The dog lived.

In New Zealand a few years ago. We were warned about the Kea bird. Anything rubber it will destroy. Wipers, window frame seals, wind screen washer gaskets......

While I was walking up a mountain my better half was looking after the car. When I got back from my trek I think she was more exhausted than I was keeping Keas at bay!

Now, imagine preety feathers Kea bird here and friends, find Horny John outside...

I'm going to get into trouble for this.

1. Cats do what they want, when they want.

2. They rarely listen to you.

3. They're totally unpredictable.

4. They whine when they are not happy.

5. When you want to play they want to be left alone.

6. When you want to be alone, they want to play.

7. They expect you to cater to their every whim.

8. They're moody.

9. They leave their hair everywhere.

10. They drive you nuts.

Conclusion: Cats are little, tiny women in cheap fur coats.
