My wife has taken up quilting & with printable fabrics, we collaborated.
All the insets are Lightwave generated.
(yeah, I posted the same thing on SQ, but I'm really proud of this!)

You have a cool quilt there. I may get something like that after I show my wife!!

Very nice.

Printable Fabrics...? Mind explaining that?

Very nice, Sir. You and your wife should be proud.
Always neat when you make something cool that no one else has, isn't it?

You both could be proud, I really enjoy the result! :)

My mom makes her own quilts too :D.

Very beautiful done, but I have the same question, how did you get the LW images on fabric?

Oh sorry:o
Missed the question on the first read.
You can get packages of printable fabric where they sell sewing & quilting supplies.
They come in sheets like printer paper & have a stabilizing layer so that they won't bunch up when you run them through your laser-jet printer.
There are several kinds- some you just peel off the stabilizer & sew like any fabric (that's the kind we used) others have fusible layers (like iron-on glue).
We found out about it on the Quilting shows on cable, but I'm sure there's a lot you can find on the web.
I KNOW that a lot of Wal-Marts carry the fabric sheets.
