Hi guys.

Anyone knows if there is a node outhere wich lets you use the shaders as output. I would like to use the cctv shader as a texture in the node tree. Can that be done in some way. I have an idea that i want to test, using CCTV as a normalmap renderer and take the output to normaldisplace.

Can that be done inanother way?

I have done some searching, but I cant find anything.

Thnx.

No one.. Anything.. Nothing..
Am I thinking totaly wrong here, or did I miss out in the explenation.

Think of the use to be able to add a animated normalmap on a arm, or face or anythin.. Diplace a grid, render through a cctv cam, apply to normalmap displacement on another object..

I might be thinking totaly wrong, but could some one scrap the idea in that case.

Diplace a grid, render through a cctv cam, apply to normalmap displacement on another object..
Not within a single render. Displacements happen before the render engine is set up. In fact, completed displacements are a requirement for the actually rendering to start.
And to be rendering in turn is a requirement for CCTV to work (which relies on raytracing and that in turn requires all polygons to be at their final position).

Cheers,
Mike
