ok, i have been having a problem with LWs interface since i moved
to win7. When i select a menu and if i hold the mouse button, after
a second are two the LW interface seems as though it wants to refresh.

it even does it when i don't hold the button, but if i scroll the menu
for more than bout 10secs it start what i think, is refreshing the interface.

sometimes it will freeze when i select an item from a list, but comes back
up after a few seconds or sometimes i have to click on the desktop or
another program to get it to come back up.

i been dealing with this but now iv'e created a slider and i can't get it to
move or slide. it seems to work at times but then it just doesn't work.

i have a dual monitor setup if that may be causing issues.
has anyone else experienced any of these issues.

whats even crazier is that i can open RebelHills romeo file and
i can move his sliders and edit them.

even if im setting it up wrong i should at least be able to
move the slider panel around the screen?

Yep. Same here. I think it might be that window snapping to the sides feature. That's so dumb. Microsoft

You're probably right Snosrap. There's a post here (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107659) which seems to address the same problem. In any case, either try turning of the window snapping functionality or run LW in XP mode. (The latter works best imo)

Are you running the 64 bit version of LW? I installed both the 32 and 64 bit versions of LW on win 7 and find that the 32 bit version runs much better. You still get the benefits of the larger RAM addressing, etc.

Im running win7 pro 64 bit and have not had that issue. its possible it could be a Video card issue.

Good gawd. Glad I came by here. If I didn't select something fast, it either jumped out of the menu or closed the interface depending on what program.

Now it doesn't because I turned off that flic pan thingy. (Whatever you call Win 7's automatically sizing windows to fit the screen.)

Probably doesn't help that popup menus in LightWave UI are actually mini windows opened up. So Windows treats them as such.
