Im trying to set up a slider to operate a bone. It needs to move on the x axis but needs to start on a negative value (-22mm). It only needs to move to -44 mm but the slider wont recognise these as a minimum and maximum value. I just end up with a blank slider that has no 'operating lever'.

Can anyone suggest how I get this to work as a slider?

The issue is that LW recognises the size of numbers entered into it...

If you set min= -22, and max= -44... it wont work... becuause -44 is SMALLER than -22.

If you set it the other way round, min= -44, max= -22... itll work fine.

Thats embarrassing!....of course...I'm now remembering why my maths grades were always worse than my art grades at school!!

That works a treat RH...thanks for pointing an dunce in the right direction!

Ive done it enough times myself... its too easy to think of the values as FROM and TO, rather than MIN and MAX.
