I created a cube in Layout and then saved the scene and worked on something else when I loaded the scene back up it said it couldn't find the cube object and 'would I like to load it?'. Does that normally happen?

You used layout´s modeler tools, added a null and created the geometry or?

the object itself needs to be saved first as in modeler.

or maybe you saved out the object at a totaly different location from where layout is trying to find it from?

Yeah I made it with Layouts Modeler tools on a null. I didn't realize there was an actual object file being used. I guess I know that for the future.

this plugin needs no nulls for creation of simple primitives in layout
it´s piddus df-primitive generator..and there´s even icons on the tab:)

upon creation you get the location to specify where you want the object
to be created at.

the pivot point is centered at the groundplane thou as opposed to the
standard object creation in the center of the object.

Thanks, It's extremely rare that I need to do this, in fact this is the first time I considered doing it since the feature was created aside from testing it. This was just a quick cube to cover a hole in the main object that I didn't want to show on camera.
