View Full Version : Morph based on distance to null?

Hi, I'm trying to set up a morph based on the distance to a null, like in the video that William Vaughan did. This works fine if I leave the object at the origin, and move the reference null. The problem is that I want to be able to leave the null in one place, and move the object, and it doesn't work that way. Any ideas? I have tried using the "world position" in the item info node, but it didn't work.

Try setting "Node Displacement Order" to "Before World Displacement".

That was it. Thanks, Serge! That combined with "world spot" in the spot info node did the trick.
