Roland sh-09 synth

keys made in lightwave, [edited from the korg microkorg model] the panel cutouts and white screen print modeling created with splines in 3dsmax, final model brought into lightwave for a render :thumbsup:

very good , nice and clean ! ,your modellings getting better and better :rock: the close up of the knobs *chucle* is a nice shot , I would use "off my head " background / volumetrics , camera distoration " not correct name but you know what I mean , " make the knob *heheh* its own layer and select that for the camera to focus on !

Nice work.

In the second image with the knobs close up, the "A" in RANGE and WAVE has a missing or flipped triangle.

yeh, well spotted:thumbsup: looks like all the 'A's have a flipped poly issue..i'll fix 'em up!

yeah i had a sh -09 too...at least they made them from metal back then and we're real analogue sounding not 'virtual' or as i call 'em dead impressions of analogue sounds...

Very nice Steve. My only crit, from a personal POV, is that it's a bit too clean. I'd like to see a render where it has been used for a few weeks and has fingerprints on the shiney areas and dust in the grooves...nothing too grubby, just subtle handling marks.

ye like my keyboard , with stickers on the keys to indicate the notes :D
