hello everybody

i wanted to get into programming and figured lscript is a great place to start with
since i have a whole bunch of tools on my LW wish list
the documentation was very clear to me and i already got most parts of my 1st script to work
im just short by one feature now and i thought i may ask the professionals for that ;)

the tool is supposed to be activated on a key shortcut and work in the viewport the mouse
is pointing at just like the "Rotade 90 Right" tool (shortcut r)

i did find viewport readouts but they seem to be for layout scripts?
at least i cant get them to work in modeler

VIEW_ZY
VIEW_XZ
VIEW_XY
VIEW_PERSP
VIEW_LIGHT
VIEW_CAMERA
VIEW_SCHEMA

are these supposed to work like i wand and im just doin something terribly wrong?
or is there a diferent way to get the current viewport in modeler?

sum encouraging words would be much appreciated 8)

I don't believe there's a way to get viewport info within Modeler. I know that can be done in Layout though.
