Hello,

I want to learn previsualization for films. Lightwave with LWCAD and Motion Mixer is all-in-one 3D software for that purpose. But what are NewTek’s plans for the future?
Will Motion Mixer be implemented in Lightwave Core and when?

Gene Zborowsky.

Looks like you're new here, so I'll cut you some slack.

Nobody knows what NewTek's plans are. It's not a secret or anything. It's just that Nobody knows what NewTek's plans are...

What about Messiah plugin? Core suppose to use mdd files, so may be it would work?

CORE should be able to use MDD files by the time its released but to use Messiah as a host plug-in, PMG would have to port it to CORE which currently it isn't. As far as I'm aware, WTools (LWCAD) is the only third party vendor which has announced a CORE version. It's still a bit early to know what kind of third party support it will have.

It's also too early to know how CORE will deal with non-linear animation the way motion mixer does. No specifics have been mentioned.

Thank you for the answer, hrgiger. I'll wait.
