Yeah.. I used them a couple of times, when they just started up. Dutch company btw. Worked great..

Cool!

Maybe something for a speed modeling challenge, "model something that you'd like to see 3d printed, following their design rules, for under XX $" and who knows maybe one or two models could eventually show up as photos of real objects :)

I'm very tempted to make some little (ok ok, tiny) sub-$50 thingy for printing. My own unique trek memorabilia or something.

probably the coolest route... Zbrush (colored or not) -> 3D print.. sort of adds to the excitement I guess to know it will end up on your desk.

Takes it away from being a purely digital thing...

I've always wanted to have one of my models printed. Maybe my current 3D-Coat Bruce Willis sculpture. 3DC is great for that since you know voxels are going to be water tight, it's impossible for them not to be.

my Bogart caricature might be my first model...either the bust or the full body.

Very cool! What material was that made from? Have you had any models made from the stainless steel? Do any of the materials have less of that 'sand' texture to them at all? Great models in your shop by the way! :D
