View Full Version : Copying background morph

What I have is a character which I want to apply morphs to. I have a base character that I am working with and all the morph shapes are in separate .lwo's.

Firstly I want to add a blink morph to my base character so I have that in the foreground layer and I have the blink .lwo coppied into in the background layer. The points line up perfectly besides the eyes of course.

I tried FI's CopyMorph plugin however that didn't move a single point and just added a morph name.

Any other ideas/suggestions as to how to combat this?

The other command is apply morph which works very well for doing lefts & rights,
Proton has a video in the LW tutorials section.

Another thing that works well.
Say you have a morph for both eyes closing and you want to also create separate left eye, right eye blinks.
Select the eyes closed morph.
Select the points just in the left eye.
Click on copy vmap and give it a new name.
Do the same for the right eye.
The morphs or other Vmaps will be copied just
on the selected points. :)

Yeah, Larry, I generally do my weight maps in that fashion
