i would like it so that symetry mode also affects hidden geometry.

In that case, why hide it? That seems counter-productive to me. The primary reason I hide geometry in the first place is that it allows me to work on and/or modify unhidden geometry, with the assurance that my hidden geometry stays as-is!

Maybe you should consider simply moving it to another layer to work on it temporarily.

it would help in the case of pushing and pulling points when
working with a dense mesh.

But it's counter-intuitive.

A sculpt-app would be a better solution to that thought.

Hiding is there so that you can not affect other geometry as well as focus on the part being worked on. Perhaps this could be an option with CORE but I have to agree with Rudy, it seems counter productive to let symmetry function on hidden geometry.

i think it would be nice.

for instance im working on a shoulder and while im pushing and pulling
points it would be nice if i could hide all the geometry in wireframe views
that i'm not working on that way i can focus and see what im doing
better than if i have to look through all the wires from the mesh.

having the otipn to have symmetry affect hidden geometry is not
counter intuitive, it allows for faster and easier manipulation of meshes.
