sometimes when welding I get these awfull looking things...what are they technically speaking ? :confused:

are you sure ? i'm trying to create some right now, but can't seem to...I'd like to understand why they are generated :question:

Hit 'W' for the stats panel and check for single point polys...I have it open all the time along with the numeric and layers panels, it saves a lot of time and hassle

got it ! i couldn't get see them right because I had the legacy openGL turned off on this machine and they weren't coming out as the black things, they seem to originate from welding vertices of which at least one belongs to an Ngon...yeah I tend to have point and statistics panels on my second screen, I use a 19 inch as main so its small enough already, Ive seen people docking them on the left, a zbrush autodock would be a cool feature. anyway thanks for the replies guys :thumbsup:
