View Full Version : Connecting Complex Parts

I am trying to model a Helmet and I have created an Outside and inside object by simply resizing the outside object and flipping the pollies. Is there a more efficient way to connect the outside edges/point creating pollies than selecting each group of 4 points and hitting 'p'?

you can use a LScript like Thickener (http://www.lwplugindb.com/Plugin.aspx?id=9c812eed)

There might be some others out there as well.

Copy the polys, flip them, smooth scale, paste, merge.

If you have the most recent version of LWCAD, the thickness tool makes quick work out of it.

Thickener is my choise also..

and as mentioned above by splinegod..copy,paste and flip method with
smooth scale works too..and there´s a video showing how to do that.
